Dieses Projekt befasst sich mit der Entwicklung statistischer Methoden, die fuer gewisse analytische Verfahren (wie zum Beispiel das Auffinden von Unreinheiten in Medikamenten) benoetigt werden, die als Alternativen zu Tierexperimenten in der Gruppe von Dr. Hartung entwickelt werden. Dieses Projekt wird in Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem FB Mathematik und Statistik (Prof. Beran) und dem FB Biologie (PD Dr. Hartung) und wird aus Drittmitteln des FB Biologie finanziert.
In this project we consider statistical methods that are needed for analytic procedures that are being developed (by Dr. Hartung and his group) as alternatives to animal experiments. This research is joint collaboration between the department of mathematics and statistics (Prof. Beran) and the departmen of biologz (Dr. Hartung) and is financed by a grant to the department of biology.
