preThe doctoral project concerns the theoretical study of models for topological superconductingcircuits and qubits. The research objective of the first part is the understanding of the non-equilibrium dynamics and the quasiparticle poisoning effects in Andreev bound states ofconventional and topological superconducting junctions. In the second part of the doctoral project,we will investigate the effect of dissipation and decoherence due to the quasiparticle poisoning forthe adiabatic dynamics of topological superconducting qubits based on Majorana states./pre
