Thin Film Crystalline Silicon Solar Cell on Metallurgical Silicon Substrate


Abstract: The main objective of this project is to produce thin film silicon solar cell on metallurgical silicon substrate in a Liquid Phase Epitaxy (LPE) reactor of high throughput. Indium will be used as a solvent in the LPE growth. The high purity silicon source for epitaxial growth will be produced by melt-back of silicon from the substrate.
